Implementing curriculum renewal mentoring program

Description

This program will provide support to faculty leaders and subject coordinators to facilitate the review and revision of their school’s PDHPE programs to align with the new NSW K-10 PDHPE syllabus.

The program is delivered by Janice Atkin who has worked as a curriculum consultant for the past 16 years. Her projects have included managing the development of the Australian Curriculum Health and Physical Education and providing curriculum support and professional development to schools across Australia in HPE, assessment and respectful relationships programs.

This program is designed as a mentoring process where subject coordinators and head teachers will be guided through the process which they can then implement with their teams. The program is broken up into ten sessions, with each session including a pre-recorded webinar and tasks that need to be completed. On completion of the tasks participants can access the next session’s content.
